BlueChipAlley was founded in December 1999 by three graduates of the United States Military Academy including a former Division-I athlete (Baseball). Together, their aim was, and remains, to simplify the college recruitment process. The Company is headquartered in the Baltimore/Washington, DC metropolitan area.

BlueChipAlley offers high school and junior college student athletes the ability to showcase their academic accomplishments and athletic skills on-line to college recruiters nationwide. Additionally BlueChipAlley greatly assists college recruiters in their pursuit of talent, as the site greatly reduces the time and travel normally associated with finding qualified student athletes. The ability to showcase an athlete's statistics and performance video on-line combined with a recruiter's potential to search by academic, statistical and other pertinent criteria truly brings collegiate athletic and academic recruiting to the Internet age.
